Marcy Blum is an American "eventiste" who is the owner of the acclaimed event planning company Marcy Blum Associates based in New York City. Marcy is a graduate of The Culinary Institute of America and began her career in the restaurant business, later creating a segue into the then developing field of event planning. In 1986 she became one of the first in the industry to develop the vocation into a successful career
Relied upon to plan events for some of Manhattan’s most discerning clients, Marcy has developed a favorable reputation as a producer of events. From Manhattan to countries including Switzerland and Italy, her events are worldwide affairs. Marcy's culinary background is also considered one her strongest attributes - developing menus that are varied, distinct and match the event at hand. Marcy has also been a guest on the CBS Morning Show, The Today Show, Live with Regis and Kelly , The Oprah Winfrey Show and most recently Rocco's Dinner Party and The Nate Berkus Show.
